Objectives

This assessment task relates to Unit Learning Outcomes 3 to 5. In this assessment task, you will complete your final network design report for the scenario given on page 3 based on the feedback you received on your Assessment Item 1 report. You are expected to apply and further develop your skills and knowledge that you gained in the prerequisite and co-requisite units. You are also expected to contribute to the Group Discussion Forum in Moodle by finding the answers to the recommended weekly group discussion questions.

This assessment task has two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A should be undertaken in a group of 3 or 4 students and Part B should be undertaken individually. Distance students can form groups with on-campus students as well.

Assessment Task

Starting from the logical network design that you completed in Assessment Item 1, you are required to undertake the physical design of the network taking into consideration the feedback that you received on your Assessment Item 1 report. You are also required to complete your final network design report.
